The event began with Bridgeway MD Jason Holloway introducing the themes of the day. MobileIron, a leader in Enterprise Mobility Managment, then gave an overview of the changing mobility landscape, and the resulting impact on IT management, security and the users experience. We then heard an interesting talk and live demonstration from startup Fliplet on ‘how to build an enterprise mobile app in 20 minutes’ – showcasing how rapidly apps can be developed and deployed.

A new survey shows how mobile workers feel pressure when handling work at home - and personal matters at work

A survey by Bridgeway partner MobileIron has revealed that 58% of mobile workers feel guilty about mixing their work and personal lives. The study, which surveyed more than 3,500 professionals across six different countries who use a mobile device for work, highlights the growing trend of ‘Generation Mobile’ or ‘Gen M’ – mobile workers who are aged 18-34 or people with children under 18.
